Award Winning Playwright Tod Rainey Opens New Show GHOST LIGHT In Seattle

21 August, New York

Ghost Light, a new work by Tod Rainey, will have it's first run at the Annex Theatre in Seattle--opening on September 13 at 7:30 PM.

Ghost Light, an existential journey into the horrors of real life, follows Catherine Wraith--the matriarch of a white trash Irish traveler family, as she struggles to keep her family together. to stop the bank from foreclosing on their lives, and to resist the Clown who is making unwanted advances.

Set in theater rock bottom, Ghost Light explores the fine line between human conscientiousness and the ever-encroaching abyss.

Ghost Light is scheduled to open in Manhattan next fall.

Kaitlyn Lunardi set to take over Acting Department at Rainey Day Music & Theater

1 February, New York

After receiving a full tuition scholarship to the esteemed Tisch School of Drama at New York University, Mrs. Lunardi went on to perform leading roles in New York, Philadelphia,  and Seattle.  Currently Mrs. Lunardi has booked various film projects, and is working on reprising the role she originally created, Molly from Ghost Light,  at the Public Theater in New York.  Mrs. Lunardi is also serving as the acting coach, designer, and choreographer for the national Anabelle tour.  Heralded as a natural teacher, Mrs. Lunardi is excited to share her theatrical experience and skills with a diverse group of kids and teens who are not only interested in mastering the acting arts, but who are also committed to a rigorous course of technical study.  We are thrilled to Welcome Kaitlyn Lunardi to head the Drama Department at Rainey Day Music & Theater.
